Hi! My name is Ceren Kara, I am a Utrecht based illustrator originally from Turkey. I illustrate primarily with watercolors, but I also love experimenting with other mediums like gouache, colored pencils, and embroidery. In my portfolio, you will find the projects I’ve illustrated so far.

The recurring themes in my work are nature, flora and fauna, food, cooking, gardens, home, and the environment. But other illustrative challenges are always welcome!

Besides making illustrations I love cooking and gardening. Making a cookbook for children is at the top of my illustration bucket list.
